COMPANY PROFILE |
King Tool Company manufactures a full line of fabricated vessels for removing liquids and solids from gas streams. These units are primarily sold to natural gas producers, transmission companies, refineries and large natural gas consumers. Many designs are available in sizes ranging from small 6-inch diameter, 150-pound design vessels to 108-inch diameter vessels weighing more than 100,000 pounds. One of the most popular designs is the patented King Tool Company Self-Cleaning Reverse Flow Mist Coalescer, which removes entrained liquids and associated solids from gas by means of a special type of filter elements. The filter elements in this all-inclusive type unit can be cleaned (by backflowing) while the vessel remains on-stream IN FULL SERVICE. Self-Cleaning Coalescers achieve much better efficiency than conventional filter separators by lowering the average pressure drop across the filter elements as unique proprietary means and methods are utilized. King Tool Company was founded in 1945 by Roy King for the manufacture of a variety of products for the oil and gas industry. Since 1965, King Tool Company has been managed by Charles G. Tullis and has sold many thousands of vessels worldwide through a network of American and foreign agents and licensees. King
